Mailing list?
I found out today that apparently you cannot subscribe to this blog unless you’re a WordPress user, and here all along I’ve been telling people to subscribe. So, in lieu of everybody making WordPress accounts, I was thinking about starting a mailing list wherein I would email anybody who would like to be included. I would notify you whenever I post a new blog, and that way you won’t miss a thing! Would anybody be interested in that, or are you all big boys and girls who will remember to check this by yourselves? Let me know!
Week 2: January 6 thru January 12.
Welcome to week 2! Sorry for the delayed post. It’s a long story, but in the end it seems that my Olympus camera is boycotting me. It probably heard that I’m getting my new Nikon Coolpix tomorrow (Wednesday!), got jealous, and went on strike. No worries. Ryan was a dear and loaned me his camera in the meantime.
So without further adieu, here is week 2.
I’ve decided to include one bonus photo this week. I didn’t like it for my “main” Saturday photo because it’s really not that good. It is, however, adorable. I took it on while I was steaming my Brussels sprouts, and Sunshine was a sport and let me give her a little hat. View it here. And don’t tell her I posted it, she might get embarrassed.

Technical difficulties.
This week’s post will be late. I am currently trying to figure out why my computer / iPhoto is not recognizing my Olympus camera, thus not allowing me to upload this week’s photos. I was able to upload photos from my Nikon with ease; however, something is amiss with my Olympus. It’s looking like I’ll have to upload them to my computer at work tomorrow, then post from there. A snag this early in the project is disheartening…however, my new Nikon Coolpix is on its way. Goodbye, Olympus. Hello Nikon #2! Check back tomorrow or Tuesday.
Week 1: Jan 1 - Jan 5.
It’s the first batch: Tuesday, January 1 thru Saturday, January 5. I decided to make my weeks start on Sunday and end on Saturday because that’s what a week is to me.
I also decided to throw up the photos without any description, comment, or context, an idea I credit to my friend Gary. When I first dreamed up this project it seemed obvious that I would put up a photo and say things like, “This is a photo of the delicious vegan breakfast scramble I made…” and proceed to detail the dish, the day, and anything else I might feel like babbling on about. But unlike my previous blogs, this blog is about photos - not words. Plus I think it will be interesting for viewers to see a photo that makes absolutely no sense and try to figure out what the devil I was doing when I took it.
So, that said, I will stop with the typin’ and get with the pit’chers.
Hint #1: The first photo will always be Sunday. The last one will always be Saturday. If you know your days of the week, you can figure out the ones in the middle. Except this week, because January 1 was a Tuesday.
